2019 Reggio Twilight Conference

2019 Twilight Conference Inquiring with the Reggio Emilia Approach

At Cannon Hill State School, we take an innovative, evidence-based, age-appropriate approach to teaching and learning, inspired by the schools from the Reggio Emilia district in Italy.

If you would like to know more about how our approach works in practice, we have a couple of great opportunities coming up.

Firstly, our Open Day is coming up on Wednesday 29 May 2019 - this event focuses on families who are thinking about sending their children to Prep at our school in 2020, but of course we would also love to see anyone who is considering transferring, and we can extend our school facilities tours accordingly.

Secondly, our 3rd annual Twilight Conference, 'Inquiring with the Reggio Emilia Approach' is coming up on Thursday 15 August, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. And we are taking early bird registrations now!

Our Twilight Conference is a fantastic opportunity for educators and community members to learn about our approach, research and practical experience.

For more information, please email our Deputy Principal Joy Pohlner.

Finally, by way of background, you may be interested to check out the March issue of our school magazine, Love to Learn

The March Love to Learn (PDF, 1010KB) is a long read publication, that takes a very detailed look at how we approach teaching and learning at Cannon Hill State School, with particular focus on how we integrate our Reggio-Emilia-style approach with the Australian Curriculum content and standards.
